BAND/CHOIR TRIP 2017
Choir 8/9 and Jazz and Concert Band 9 members will be heading off on their annual spring trip very soon! Students, Chaperones, and Ms. Sinhuber will leave for Vancouver on May 24th and arrive back at school on May 26th.

FESTIVAL NEWS 2017
Choir - placed first in their category at Kiwanis and received an invitation to compete at a higher level. (They are not going to do this because their teacher is very, very tired.)
Jazz Band 8 received a gold at the BC Interior Jazz Festival, a nomination to the National competition, and were invited to play at the showcase concert.
Jazz Band 9 received a silver at the BC Interior Jazz festival just missing gold by one point.
Concert Band 8 received a Superior minus at the Kiwanis festival and an invitation to complete at the National competition.
Concert Band 9 received a Superior and came first in their category at the Kiwanis festival and received an invitation to complete at the National competition. They also tied for the top overall group in the Kiwanis festival and won top junior group.
